From the beginning of the professional era, several forwards showed up in our league as they had an impressive impact on the performance of their clubs.
Besides being the ADNOC Pro League's all-time top scorer with 181 goals, Ali Mabkhout topped the chart of the influential strikers with their clubs.
Mabkhout managed to achieve prominent records as he led the chart of the players with most goals in one season when he managed to score 33 goals during the 2016-17 season.
He also topped the list of players with the most hat-tricks after managing to net 14 hat-tricks.
Meanwhile, Ghanaian forward Asamoah Gyan featured in the chart of players with the most goals in one season with 31 goals in the 2012-13 season and 29 goals in the 2013-14 season.
Al Ain striker Laba Kodjo entered the race by sitting fourth in the chart after managing to find the back of the net on 26 occasions during the 2021-22 season, equaling Sebastián Tagliabué's record, who scored the same number of goals during the 2018-19 season.
