Al Ain and Al Wahda head into the ADIB Cup final with many key players capable of making the difference, highlighting the strength and depth of both teams ahead of the May 1 clash.
For Al Ain, Kodjo Laba and Soufian Rahimi have been standout performers in the competition. Laba has contributed 16 goals in 24 matches, scoring 11 and assisting five, while also scoring three goals and providing three assists in the current edition. He is just one goal behind the top scorer this season.
Rahimi has also played a major role, contributing 14 goals in 23 matches, with nine goals and five assists, including two goals in the current campaign.
On the other side, Al Wahda rely heavily on Dusan Tadic and Omar Khribin. Tadic leads the assists chart in the current edition with six assists and has scored twice in eight matches. Khribin has been equally effective, contributing 11 goals in 11 matches, with eight goals and three assists.
The final also brings interesting historical notes. For Al Ain, the youngest scorer in a final was Saeed Juma at 18 years old in 2011, while the oldest was Caio Canedo in 2020.
For Al Wahda, Lucas Pimenta is the youngest scorer, while Sebastián Tagliabúe holds the record as the oldest.
