The UAE Pro League held the technical coordination meeting for the ADIB Cup Final 2025–2026, with the attendance of representatives of Al Ain, Al Wahda, and Al Jazira Club, the host of the match, along with a representative from the UAE Football Association’s Referees Committee and officials from various league departments.
The meeting, chaired by CEO of the UAE Pro League Musab Al Marzooqi, reviewed all organizational and technical arrangements to ensure the final is delivered to the highest standards.
The ADIB Cup final will take place on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, with kick-off scheduled for 20:45, and is expected to draw large fans.
During the meeting, they discussed match operations, technical regulations, match protocol, safety and security plans, accreditation procedures, medical services, and trophy ceremony arrangements.
From a technical perspective, it was confirmed that the match will go directly to a penalty shootout if it ends level after regular time.
Team kits were also approved, with Al Ain set to wear full purple, while Al Wahda will appear in all white.
Stadium gates will open at 17:45, with dedicated entrances and seating areas assigned to each club.
Al Wahda fans will be located opposite the main stand (A21–B21), the East Stand, and the premium section to the right of the main stand.
Al Ain fans will occupy the opposite side (A17–B17), the West Stand, and the premium section to the left of the main stand, ensuring smooth crowd flow and organization.
VIP access will be through the main stand, with dedicated seating in the North Stand suites and VIP sections on the left side of the main stand.
Media activities were also outlined, with pre-match press conferences scheduled for Thursday, April 30, 2026, at ADIB headquarters.
Al Ain will address the media at 16:00, followed by Al Wahda at 16:30.
Official training sessions will be held at the match stadium on the same day, with the first 15 minutes open to media.
Al Wahda will train at 18:00, while Al Ain will train at 19:15.
Medical preparations include the provision of ambulances and on-site medical points to ensure the safety of players and spectators.
This meeting is part of the UAE Pro League’s efforts to deliver an exceptional final that reflects the prestige of the competition and enhances the experience for fans and partners alike.
