Shabab Al Ahli Extend Gap at Top of U21 Pro League to Nine Points

Title holders Shabab Al Ahli consolidated their position at the top of the U21 Pro League standings with 39 points, nine points above second-placed Sharjah who defeated Ajman 2-1 away from home.

 

 

Matchweek 16, which took place on Saturday and Sunday, February 11th and 12th, saw one home win, 3 away victories, and 3 draws as the net rippled on 22 occasions.

 

 

Meanwhile, Khorfakkan and Al Nasr played out a goalless draw, which left them in the eighth and seventh positions respectively.

 

 

Ittihad Kalba also played out a 1-1 draw with Al Dhafra to move to the twelfth place with 14 points, while Al Dhafra also rose to 13 points in the 13th place.

 

 

Sharjah emerged 2-1 victorious away from home over Ajman to jump to second place with 30 points, while Ajman remained in ninth place with 18 points.

 

 

Meanwhile, Dibba defeated Al Wasl 2-1 away from home, to jump to the fourth spot with 29 points, while Al Wasl's tally froze at 17 points in the tenth place.

 

 


Bani Yas and Al Bataeh shared the spoils after holding a 2-2 draw, but the former remained bottom with just 10 points, while the latter moved to the eleventh position with 16 points.

 

 

Matchweek 16 concluded with Al Ain settling a five-goal thriller after sealing a 4-1 win over Al Jazira, raising their tally to 28 points in fifth place, while Al Jazira remained third with 30 points.
