ADNOC Pro League: Laba Dominates Scoring, Romero Rules Assists

The battle for individual honours in the ADNOC Pro League has intensified after five matchweeks, with standout performers emerging across goals, assists, passing and defensive metrics.

 

 

 

Laba on Top

 

 

 

Al Ain striker Laba Kodjo tops the scoring charts with seven goals, followed by Al Dhafra’s Karim El Berkaoui on six. Aylton Filipe (Khorfakkan), Mohanad Ali (Dibba) and Omar Khribin (Al Wahda) each have three.

 

 

 

Laba has directly been involved in seven goals, while Berkaoui has six. Khorfakkan’s Tarik Tissoudali is next with five; three goals and two assists. Al Ain’s Alejandro “Kaku” Romero and Al Dhafra’s Mohammed Al Khaliwi both have four goal involvements.

 

 

 

Romero leads the league for chances created (22) and has three assists. He is followed by Al Wahda’s Dusan Tadic (15 chances, 3 assists) and Shabab Al Ahli’s Federico Cartabia (13 chances, 3 assists). Hugo Neto (Al Wasl) and Tissoudali (Khorfakkan) also feature with eight chances each.

 

 

 

In passing, Al Jazira’s Abdulla Ramadan stands out with 157 successful passes in the opposition half (84.1% accuracy).

Laba also tops the shots on target charts with 21 attempts (10 on target). Khribin sits second with 17 (11 on target) ahead of Dibba’s Mohanad Ali (16), including 9 on target and the duo of Walid Azaro (Ajman) and Rey Manaj (Sharjah) also on 16.

Al Dhafra’s Mohsen Al Rabja leads duels with a 78.3% success rate. Al Ain’s Yahia Benkhaleq (76.5%) and Bani Yas’ Fawza Al Musabi (71.4%) are close behind. Khorfakkan’s Caio Campos has contested the most duels (30).

 

 

 

Successful Saves

 

 

 

Al Bataeh goalkeeper Ibrahim Eisa has made the most saves (17), followed by Khorfakkan’s Ahmed Hamdan (16). Al Nasr’s Ahmed Shambih and Ajman’s Ali Al Hosani share third place with 13 apiece.
