Al Wahda Eye 2nd Leage Title After Impressive Start to the Season

With strong numbers and high ambitions, Al Wahda have made a powerful start to the ADNOC Pro League season as they set their sights on a long-awaited second league title.

 

 

 

The Abu Dhabi side have shown early intent, entering the title race with confidence and consistency after five matchweeks of competitive football.

 

 

 

Al Wahda last lifted the league trophy in the 2009–2010 season, their only title in the professional era, a tally they share with Al Wasl and Sharjah.

 

 

 

This year, the club is determined to end that wait and claim the crown for a second time, a victory that would move them clear in fourth place on the list of the league’s most successful teams.

 

 

 

After five matches, Al Wahda remain unbeaten, with three wins and two draws, collecting 11 points to sit second in the table, just two behind leaders Al Ain.

 

 

 

Alongside the league leaders, they are one of only two teams yet to taste defeat this season.

 

 

 

Their statistics reflect a balanced and disciplined side.

 

 

 

Al Wahda have recorded four clean sheets, the joint-highest total in the league alongside Shabab Al Ahli.

 

 

 

 

Offensively, they rank second in shots on target with 51 and third in goals scored with eight, level with Khorfakkan.
