The UAE Pro League has announced the shortlist of nominees for the Best Monthly Awards' for January in the ADNOC Pro League, covering the categories of Best Player, Best Goalkeeper and Best Coach.
Five players have been nominated for Best Player Award: Al Ain duo Matias Palacios and Laba Kodjo, Nicolas Gimenez of Al Wasl, Yuri Cesar from Shabab Al Ahli, and Dusan Tadic of Al Wahda.
Three goalkeepers are in contention for best Goalkeeper award: Ahmed Al Hosani (Khorfakkan), Hamad Al Meqbaali (Shabab Al Ahli), and Khalid Eissa (Al Ain).
Meanwhile, the best award will be contested by Paulo Sousa (Shabab Al Ahli), Vladimir Ivic (Al Ain), and Jose Morais (Sharjah).
Fans' voting will open on Monday, February 2, via the official website and mobile application, and will remain open for 24 hours. The winners will then be announced through the UAE Pro League’s official social media platforms.
