Sharjah returned to winning ways with a convincing 4–1 win over Dibba in their rescheduled Matchweek 16 clash of the ADNOC Pro League, played at Sharjah Stadium.
The hosts made a flying start and quickly took control of the match with an impressive attacking display in the first half.
Harib Abdalla Suhail opened the scoring in the 8th minute with a powerful strike from outside the penalty area that caught the goalkeeper off guard. Just two minutes later, Igor Coronado doubled the lead with a well-taken finish, putting Sharjah firmly in command.
Sharjah continued to dominate and extended their advantage shortly before halftime when Coronado scored his second goal of the night in the 42nd minute, registering another impressive brace in the ADNOC Pro League.
Early in the second half, Leandrinho added the fourth goal in the 46th minute to further underline Sharjah’s superiority.
Dibba managed to pull one goal back in the 50th minute through Saymon De Barros, but Sharjah remained comfortable for the remainder of the match and secured an important victory.
The result lifts Sharjah to 20 points and moves them up to eighth place in the standings, while Dibba remain on 13 points in 13th position.
