Ajman and Al Jazira Share the Spoils in Rashid Bin Saeed Stalemate

Ajman and Al Jazira settled for a point apiece after a hard fought 1-1 draw at Rashid Bin Saeed Stadium, in a contest that ebbed and flowed but ultimately delivered no winner.

The visitors came into the match looking to strengthen their grip on third place, while Ajman aimed to build momentum on home soil, and both sides showed flashes of quality across an evenly balanced encounter.

Ajman struck first just before the interval. A moment of real quality down the flank saw Saad El Hadani deliver a precise cross into the danger area, where Victor Henrique timed his run perfectly and finished from close range to give the hosts a deserved lead heading into the break.

Al Jazira responded with greater urgency after the restart and were rewarded early in the second half. A scramble inside the penalty area created the opening, and Mohamed Elneny reacted quickest, calmly slotting home from close range to bring his side level five minutes after the interval.

The equaliser shifted the momentum, with Al Jazira pushing for a second, but Ajman remained organised and dangerous on the counter. Both sides carved out half chances as the game opened up, yet neither could find the decisive touch in the final third.

In the closing stages, the intensity remained high, but clear cut opportunities were limited as both defences held firm under pressure.

The result sees Al Jazira remain third on 41 points, while Ajman stay seventh with 28, as both sides continue their respective battles in the ADNOC Pro League run in.
