Sharjah Fight Back to Beat Ajman 3-1 in ADNOC Pro League

Sharjah returned to winning ways with an impressive 3-1 comeback win over Ajman at Rashid Bin Saeed Stadium on Sunday in Matchweek 6 of the 2026-27 ADNOC Pro League.

The visitors overturned a one-goal deficit with three second-half goals, as Ousmane Camara and Harib Abdalla Suhail found the net alongside an own goal from Ajman's Yuri Matias.

The victory lifted Sharjah to 12 points in sixth place, level with fifth-placed Al Wahda but behind on goal difference. Ajman remained seventh with nine points.

Ajman made the stronger start and opened the scoring in the 11th minute through Victor Henrique, who capitalised on a mistake by the Sharjah goalkeeper to give the hosts an early advantage.

Sharjah pushed forward in search of an equaliser and nearly found one in the 40th minute, when Igor Coronado's powerful effort was kept out by Ajman goalkeeper Ali Al Hosani.

The hosts went into half-time with a 1-0 lead, having enjoyed 50.6% possession compared with Sharjah's 49.4%. Both teams registered three shots on target during the opening period.

Sharjah increased their attacking pressure after the break, with substitute Camara coming close to scoring as his effort narrowly missed the post.

Ajman then had a second goal ruled out following a VAR review for a foul earlier in the move.

Camara finally brought Sharjah level in the 62nd minute, heading home to make it 1-1 and put the visitors back in contention.

Sharjah completed their comeback in the 83rd minute when an own goal by Yuri Matias gave them a 2-1 advantage.

Five minutes later, Harib Abdalla Suhail sealed the victory with a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area.

The result secured three valuable points for Sharjah as they returned to winning form, while Ajman suffered a home defeat despite their promising first-half performance.
