Al Ain maintained their perfect start and stayed top of the Pro League U23 standings as Matchweek 3 produced 26 goals, the highest-scoring round of the season so far.
The third round surpassed the 24 goals scored in Matchweek 1 and the 22 recorded in Matchweek 2, with plenty of attacking action across the seven matches.
Three games ended in draws, highlighted by an eight-goal thriller between Shabab Al Ahli and Al Wasl, who shared the points in a 4-4 draw — the highest-scoring match of the round.
Ajman and Al Jazira also shared the points following a 1-1 draw, while Al Dhafra and Khorfakkan finished with the same scoreline.
Kalba secured a 3-1 victory over United, while Al Ain defeated Al Nasr by the same score to maintain their perfect record and remain at the top of the standings.
Al Wahda edged Bani Yas 3-2 in another five-goal encounter, while Sharjah claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over Hatta.
