As the new ADNOC Pro League season approaches, the competition’s historic records return to the spotlight, with the number of wins in a single campaign standing as one of the clearest measures of a team’s consistency and dominance.
With a new title race about to begin, clubs will be aiming to start strongly, establish themselves among the early frontrunners and perhaps challenge one of the competition’s most notable records.
Al Jazira remain the benchmark for the most wins in a single Pro League season after recording 22 wins during their outstanding 2016–17 campaign.
That tally remains unmatched, placing Al Jazira at the top of the historical standings for single-season victories.
Just one win behind are Shabab Al Ahli, Al Wasl and Al Ain, who have each recorded 21 victories in a season.
Shabab Al Ahli achieved the feat in 2015–16, while Al Wasl reached 21 wins during the 2023–24 campaign. Al Ain became the latest club to match that figure, registering 21 victories in 2025–26.
Al Ain also recorded 20 victories in both 2012–13 and 2021–22, while Shabab Al Ahli reached the same mark during the 2013–14 season.
The challenge is now clear for the contenders heading into the new campaign: 22 wins to equal the record, and 23 to set a new benchmark in Pro League history.
