Al Wahda and Al Jazira will face strong competition in the 2026/27 AFC Champions League Two after the group stage draw was held on Tuesday.
Al Wahda have been drawn in Group A alongside Uzbekistan’s Nasaf, Kuwait SC and Bahrain’s Al Khaldiya.
Al Jazira, meanwhile, will compete in Group B, where they will take on Iran’s Gol Gohar Sirjan, Bahrain’s Al Muharraq and Turkmenistan’s Arkadag.
The group stage is set to get underway on 15 September 2026 and will run until 3 December, with both UAE clubs looking to secure their places in the knockout rounds.
The competition will resume with the knockout stage on 9 February 2027, when the remaining teams will step up their pursuit of a place in the final.
The 2026/27 AFC Champions League Two final is scheduled for 15 May 2027, when the continent’s remaining two contenders will battle it out for the title.
