Shabab Al Ahli to Wear Red, Sharjah in White... UAE Pro League Finalises Arrangements for EMAAR Super Cup

The UAE Pro League held a technical and coordination meeting for the EMAAR Super Cup match of the 2025–2026 season, which will take place at 7:45 pm. on Saturday, 27 December, at Al Maktoum Stadium, home of Al Nasr Club. The match will see Shabab Al Ahli face Sharjah in a highly anticipated encounter.

The meeting was chaired by Musab Al Marzooqi, CEO of the UAE Pro League, and attended by representatives of both clubs, the UAE FA Referees Department, police authorities, private security companies, ambulance services, and members of the league’s operational teams.

During the meeting, match arrangements and operational procedures were reviewed, including team kits, with Shabab Al Ahli confirmed to play in their full red strip, while Sharjah will wear white.

In accordance with Article 15 of the competition regulations, it was confirmed that if the match ends in a draw at the end of normal time, the winner will be decided by a penalty shootout.

The official pre-match press conference will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, 26 December, at Dubai Creek Harbour, one of Emaar’s landmark destinations in Dubai, with the head coaches and key players from both teams attending alongside media representatives.

This will be followed by the official training sessions at Al Maktoum Stadium, with Shabab Al Ahli holding their main training session at 6:00 p.m., followed by Sharjah at 7:30 p.m. The first 15 minutes of each session will be open to the media.

Outer perimeter entrances for supporters were also confirmed. Shabab Al Ahli fans will enter through the main entrance and the gate near the Indian Club, while Sharjah fans will access the stadium via the entrances near the Egyptian Club and Leisureland. VIP invitation holders may enter through the main entrance or Leisureland, before proceeding via Gates 2 or 3 to the main stand.

Inner perimeter gates were designated for each set of fans. Shabab Al Ahli fans will use Gates 6, 7, 8, 10, and 11 for general admission, with the premium category located on the left side of the main stand. Sharjah fans will use Gates 13, 14, 15, 16, and 18 for general admission, with the premium category on the right side of the stand.

Free parking will be available for fans near the American Hospital, and supporters are encouraged to use public transport, including buses and the Dubai Metro, due to the stadium’s central location and proximity to major transport hubs.

In line with safety and security measures, medical units will be stationed throughout the stadium, with ambulances positioned outside the venue. Luggage storage facilities will also be available near Gates 10 and 14.

Fan activities will begin from 5:30 p.m. in the Fan Zone surrounding the stadium, featuring entertainment games, sports skill challenges, and activities suitable for all ages. Access to the stadium perimeter will be strictly limited to ticket holders, with no ticket sales or distribution at the venue.

Tickets are available exclusively through digital platforms, including the UAE Pro League’s official website, its smart applications, and the Platinumlist platform.
