How ADNOC Pro League Clubs Found the Net in the 2025–2026 Season

Set pieces played a significant role in shaping the scoring landscape of the ADNOC Pro League during the 2025–2026 season, with reigning champions Al Ain emerging as the most effective side from dead-ball situations.

Al Ain topped the league with 25 goals scored from set pieces, creating a clear gap over their closest challenger, Al Wahda, which registered 18 goals. Shabab Al Ahli and Khorfakkan also demonstrated strong efficiency in this area, recording 17 goals each, while Al Jazira ranked fifth with 16 goals.

Al Nasr followed in sixth place with 15 goals from set pieces, ahead of Kalba with 12 and Al Wasl with 11. Sharjah and Al Dhafra each contributed 10 goals, underlining the importance of tactical organisation and effective execution from corners, free-kicks, and aerial deliveries into the penalty area.

Further down the rankings, Dibba scored eight goals from set pieces, while Bani Yas and Al Bataeh registered seven goals each. Ajman completed the standings with six goals.

These figures highlight the varying levels of efficiency among clubs in capitalising on set-piece situations, which have become one of the most influential factors in creating scoring opportunities and determining match outcomes in the ADNOC Pro League.

Meanwhile, statistics from open play reflect the attacking quality of teams and their ability to create and convert chances during the flow of the game.

Shabab Al Ahli led the league with 43 goals from open play, underlining the team's attacking versatility and effectiveness in building offensive moves. Al Ain followed with 37 goals, while Al Jazira ranked third with 30.

Al Wasl occupied fourth place with 28 goals from open play, ahead of Sharjah with 25, while Bani Yas came sixth with 22 goals. Al Nasr and Ajman shared the next position with 21 goals each, while Al Wahda recorded 20 goals, reflecting the competitive balance among several clubs in attacking output.

Khorfakkan and Al Dhafra each scored 18 goals from open play, while Kalba, Dibba, and Al Bataeh registered 17 goals apiece.

These statistics further emphasise the importance of collective movement, creativity, and chance creation during open play, which remain among the clearest indicators of a team's attacking strength throughout the season.
