Al Ain Eye Historic Away Record Against Shabab Al Ahli

Shabab Al Ahli and Al Ain head into their highly anticipated ADNOC Pro League clash with identical records in their previous October meetings, adding further interest to Saturday's Matchweek 6 showdown at Rashid Stadium.

The two sides have met 34 times in the Pro League, with Al Ain holding the overall advantage with 15 victories compared with Shabab Al Ahli's 10, while nine matches have ended in draws.

However, their record in October tells a different story, with neither team holding the upper hand.

Across five previous league meetings during the month, each side has recorded one victory, while the other three matches all ended in 1-1 draws.

Saturday's encounter will be the 35th Pro League meeting between the teams, with kick-off scheduled for 19:45.

Al Ain also hold a strong record against Shabab Al Ahli in Saturday fixtures, having won four of their eight previous meetings on that day. Shabab Al Ahli have claimed one victory, while three matches have ended level.

The visitors will also be looking to extend an impressive unbeaten away run.

Al Ain have avoided defeat in their last 19 ADNOC Pro League away matches, recording 16 wins and three draws.

That run equals the longest unbeaten away streak in the competition's history, previously achieved by Shabab Al Ahli between October 2022 and March 2024.

No team has ever gone 20 consecutive away matches without defeat in the Pro League, allowing Al Ain to set a new record when they visit Rashid Stadium.

With both clubs looking to strengthen their positions near the top of the standings, Saturday's clash promises another important chapter in their long-running rivalry.
